In the Radio Astronomy Laboratory, interns delved into the vast cosmic mysteries, exploring celestial objects and studying the signals emanating from distant corners of the universe at 1.8 GHz by building antennas. The Sharjah Optical Observatory, with its state-of-the-art telescopes, allowed interns to gaze into the depths of space, witnessing the wonders of distant galaxies, nebulae, star clusters, lunar impacts, and exoplanets.
