More than 200 students from the Baku Aviation Academy attended the workshop. The gathering of experts and professionals from various space agencies and research institutions highlighted the global concern regarding the growing challenge of space debris and the urgent need for effective mitigation strategies. Prof. Fernini, recognized for his invaluable contributions to the field, shared insights from his research and experience, underscoring the Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences, and Technology's vital role in spearheading space debris analysis and mitigation efforts. Mrs. Aisha Al-Owais and Mrs. Maryam Eisa, both esteemed researchers from the academy, showcased their expertise and dedication to this critical field of study.
