The SAASST 40-m radio interferometer that operates at 1.4 GHz was detailed, and its uniqueness in the MENA world was emphasized. The system consists of three 5-m radio dish from PrimaLucelab, an Italian company, place at the vertices of a right triangle. Once the system becomes fully operational, the 40-m radio interferometer will have a resolution of 0.356 degrees. Hundred of radio sources can thus be observed and resolved. The 40-m radio system is an excellent tool for radio astronomy education in light of the new MSc in Astronomy and Space Sciences at the University of Sharjah and hosted by SAASST.
